Reykjavik Marathon, Iceland

Join us as we run amok in the land of fire and ice! The Reykjavik Marathon is a small, friendly and well-organized race. Although we are a few months late for the midnight sun, we still enjoy mild weather and a sun that doesn’t set until after 10 pm. (And we’ve asked the volcanoes to calm down for our trip!)

If you don’t want to run a full marathon, Reykjavik also offers a half marathon, a 10K, and a 3K for families, as well as a 2-4 person relay for the  marathon. A combination of  the country’s natural beauty, the opportunity to eat shark and sheep’s heads, and the friendliness of the Icelandic people makes this a marathon to remember.
