Dublin Marathon, Ireland

It’s not just leprechauns and Guinness – Ireland is a fascinating and unique blend of new and old. It’s the home of James Joyce, bodhrans and fiddles, and the ancient Book Of Kells. We’ll see where history has been made for thousands of years, we’ll meet friendly faces, and we’ll experience the uniquely Irish good times – “the craic.” And no trip to Ireland is complete without sampling the Guinness or the Irish Whiskey!

The Dublin marathon is a large urban race that draws runners from all over the world. Following our successful marathon, we’ll take a train through the kelly-green hills of the countryside to Belfast, where we’ll learn the real history behind the current peace process. We’ll spend the night in the Queen’s University section of Belfast and visit the world-famous Crown Pub, and return to Dublin the following day before returning to the US.
